As we promised a few days ago, we will launch facebook-clone wordpress theme version 2. Actually, this is not the upgrade version of our first facebook-clone theme, Facebook Lover. It’s our brand new facebook-clone wordpress theme, called Facebook Addict.

Features:
- - Facebook-clone theme.
- - Widget ready (left and right).
- - Headline for your blog. You can specify headline in front-page by editing index.php file on line 16.
Look at the code <?php query_posts(”showposts=1&cat=136″); ?> edit variable cat with category ID of your desired headline category. - - Auto thumbnail. You don’t need to create custom field to show the thumbnail. It will generate thumbnail from image in your post automatically. If you don’t have an image, a silhouette image will appear.

Great theme…. Very close to FB layout rather than the 2 other facebook themes i’ve tried. Bt it would be much better if the developer include ajax menu on the sidebar as well.

And what about the post thumbnail display poster’s avatar ( using gravatar ), it’s better than the default thumbnail

Nice theme. I’m trying it right now. I have a question on the thumbnail. It is possible to use the Custom Field - thumbnail for the thumbnail even though my post have image? Currently, if my post do not have image, i can use the Custom Field. But, if there is an image, it’ll take the image as the thumbnail instead of the one in Custom Field. Appreciate your help.

How do I extend the excerpts on the homepage to go beyond 5 posts?

If you need to show more than 5 posts, you need to change Reading Settings. You may find it at Settings > Reading. Change the value in field “Blog pages show at most” to the desired number of posts.
