Joomla TC ImageSlider Module

imagesliderAnother great extension for free, TCImageSlider.

With this extension, you’ll be able to satisfy your sponsors by rotating their banners in carousell way so they could have more message to display on your site.

This module is ported from Conveyor Belt Slideshow and based on Joomla Com_Banner default joomla component.

Tested on Mozilla Firefox 3, IE 7, Opera 9, and the hyped Google Chrome.

  • I really like your component but there is one major problem and one enhancement that would be nice.

Clicking on the image should open a NEW window and not use the current window.
This should be an option in the settings.

It would be nice if for width you could specify 0 or 100% for the max width of the selected location.

    Hi

Really nice concept for the component. My images do not show? Any idea why?

Enhancements: Maybe get it to integrate to other components like adsmanager, sobi, virtuemart, etc. to show images from these. This would be awesome.

this is a great component! :)
“slideshow gap” does not seem to be working for me; is sets the right gap between the first slide and the next ones, while, in my opinion, should set the left gap of the first slide..
    please have a look,
    thanks

When clicked, things should open in a new window.

  • David Maislin says:

To get the banners to open in new windows/tab:

Change Line 75: and add the target=”_blank” right after the <a.

    leftrightslide[]=’<a target=”_blank” href=”clickurl; ?>”><img src=”" />‘

  • David Maislin says:

That would be in the file: mod_tcimageslider.php
