Hello,
I have a priblem with TCdropdown module. I ve created few menus, but all of them have the same Itemid :
…/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=35&Itemid=55
In joomla original topmenu, the Itemid is always different.

Hi,
I’m really looking forward in using the menu but I’m getting the following error after I have installed it.
Notice: Use of undefined constant sef_suffix – assumed ’sef_suffix’ in C:\wamp\www\website\modules\mod_tcdropdownmenu\mod_tcdropdownmenu.php on line 193
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$browserNav in C:\wamp\www\website\modules\mod_tcdropdownmenu\mod_tcdropdownmenu.php on line 199
I’m using Joomla 1.5.9 and I have no idea what I could have done wrong.
Please help!
Thank you so much!

Need more instruction on how to modify the CSS. I activate it and it works, but the submenus are displaying horizontal in my horizontal top navigation bar. I want them to drop vertically. Plus it adds a scroll left and right, up and down bar in the menu area.
Need a solution for a template I love, but might not be able to use as it does not support drop down menu choices.

Menu looks great and is easy to configure but it does not allow changing templates by containing liks (J! 1.5.9). The only flaw… otherwise very nice.
Hallo,
how i can made, than my Separator-Links not Linking.
Sounds great, I have seen this working on another menu module provider, and I loved it
however the documentation is poor not to say inexistant.
You say we can set this up to works horizontally or vertically, but how? there is no option in the backend of the module.
so I don’t even know if the problem comes from a bad compatibility or a misconfiguration
thanks anyway
Very nice script if I can download it…
Hello, and thanks for the pretty module, but i have one question, how can i change the size of the charactres, because they appears too small.
Thanks a lot
not yet succed to make dropdown…

Hi,
I’ve installed and enabled the module. I’ve chosen to associate the module with the Top & Main menu’s of my website..
Now what do I do?
How do I input article links, and create sub menu’s to come down, etc?
Thanks a lot! I greatly appreciate your help.
Ty
can i make the menus horizontally instead of dropping down?.
im using the menu on the side so when it drops down it doesn’t look good. i need to it to expand horizontally.
coool
Installed fine – shows up on the page (looking much the same as the replaced menu) NOW WHAT?
PISS POOR documentation.
Yeah, sure the menu is quite fine. But it doesn`t work in IE, why is that ? For those who need to change the css style open the mod_tcdropdownmenu.php after you unzip the module.
Hi I so much appreciate the menu but the top menu aligns itself in the middle instead of left, How can I make it align left which css can i edit?
Thanks
Nice, easy to instal –
but as others mentioned before an error appears:
Notice: Use of undefined constant sef_suffix – assumed ’sef_suffix’ in xyz/modules/mod_tcdropdownmenu/mod_tcdropdownmenu.php on line 193
don’t know what could be done wrong
Please help
beside the error mentioned above i got another one (missed it – sorry for double post):
Notice: Use of undefined constant sef_suffix – assumed ’sef_suffix’ in xyz/modules/mod_tcdropdownmenu/mod_tcdropdownmenu.php on line 193
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$browserNav in xyz/modules/mod_tcdropdownmenu/mod_tcdropdownmenu.php on line 199
Please note that i tried SEVERAL templates – including japurity and others of the top used templates. Always the same error
i have to say this module was what i was looking for fast and easy,
Im using joomla 1.5.10 and SEF.
first i got a small error that this module added:
index.php/ to every link, and then the links don´t work.
So i looked in the mod_tcdropdownmenu.php and found where is makes that code:
$link .= ‘index.php/’ . $row->alias;
So i deleted it. but now i get the name of the file 2 times.. /homehome.html and it sould be /home.html hmm.. can someone help me?
I am in the same boat as omdawe. The menu is showing great, the submenus are working but when I click on them it leads to a 404 error and the html doubles for some reason. I am not a great coder but would love a solution. Thanks.
Thanks a lot for your fantastic module!
Saved a lot of time and trouble
Keep your work going!
Joel
great little app. However, the menus expand out horizontally and I need them to drop down as a list … Any clues would be great
guys 404 error occurs when there are no links btn articles, sections or categories.
i tried the module it works just fine try putting it in the top menu position and u’ll get vertical listing
Wonder full menu
Hy guys!
thats a great module, it works, but i have just a little problem.
i want to show different pics when another main-menu page comes up, but it does not change the pics with this dropdown-menu module. when i use the standard menu modul it works. do you have an idea why this problem happens?
many thanks
sandra
Can someone please help me. I do not have any experience with Joomla or Web designing all together, but I am a volunteer trying to help the Lamar Consolidated High School Band to re-do their website.
I would like to have drop down menu. I downloaded the lightweight drop down menu, after many hours, I finally figure out how to install it. Again, not much experience.
Then Edit the module and applied it to topmenu. I am not sure what to add in the Separator, A, A:Active A:Hover and A:visted fiels, just added number for now (_,4,2,3,5) for each field above.
saved and preview, I do have drop down menue since I have a menu with a sub menu item, but it is always visible, I would like for the submenu not to show until the top menu is click or mouse over it.
I am using the rhuk_milkyway template.
The comments indicate the change the CSS and other things I am not familiar with, if there is anyone out there with the patience to help someone that is not very experience, I would appreciate any assistance.
Thanks
pangut
It looks like great !
so many thanks
Nice Blog, I Like it
Thank you for the nice extension.
hi!!!
I’m giving problem with this module, no charge the link correct and one link is wrapper and send error “invalid url”. Please need help you!!!! soon
Thank you. This is what I was search! Many thanks!
Great!!!
Great menu but with no documentation it is impossible to edit. You say it is easy to change from horizontal to drop down? How so? I have been trying for a few hours now with no luck. I now have to admit defeat and delete this menu and find another. 1 page of simple instructions – how hard is that?????
Great work
thank you
Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!! for best modul
ohow
downloadable
:)
Pretty much same story as several before me – installed it, it doesn’t produce dropdown menus. Maybe it’s my template, who knows? The lack of documentation means I just uninstalled it. It would be nice if Joomla had this functionality built in. I would have thought this would have been a standard in 1.5. It was actually easier to accomplish in 1.0 with Extended Menu – no CSS or JavaScript hacks, just module settings to make. All I’ve seen for 1.5 are options with incomplete or incorrect documentation or things that just don’t appear to work like this module.
SUPER!!!! GOOD JOB!!!
The menus expand out horizontally and I need them to drop down as a list … Any clues would be great. Very good extension. Thanks
