2008review

What a year it has been,we’ve seen so much in 2008 we wondered how it all could fit into 365 days.

First time in history we witnessed a man become president with the help of Internet, the world also see or -like us- take part in helping Firefox breaking the world record for most downloaded software within first 24 hours of its release.

This year also the landmarked the victories of open source movements. Lots of interesting new open source applications being released and existing one being updated, JavaFX and Android to named a few new kids, Firefox 3, Ubuntu 8, Mono 2.0, OpenOffice 3.0 some of the latest version we could not resist to mention.

And of course Joomla celebrate the release of version 1.5 stable in January which probably changed the open source CMS universe. The new version has shed a light for developers around the world to make Joomla a complete fully featured platform.

Some people never take seriously their new year resolutions, but most people do and set them as a target to aim in the coming year. We’ve received so many emails regarding our templates, plugins and other things that we have to ask your forgiveness for not giving fast feedback. But we will try to make this year to be a very productive year for us which means more extensions, more templates, more articles and more user satisfaction. This year will also be the year we expanding Tobacamp network to provide more and various services.

We also would like to thank our members and readers who helped us in improving our work by using our products, giving feedbacks and referring to us, we wish you a productive and prosperous new year.

Thank You

Tobacamp Team
